      Diana was raised in Arizona and has been living in Bigfork for over 15 years. She joined Montana Athletic Club in 1999 and since then has taught various classes for MAC. She also created and runs the Kid’s Night Out program every month. Diana is a certified Lifeguard and certified Personal Trainer through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Diana has always had a passion for fitness.

      Diana is a dedicated wife and proud mom of two wonderful boys! She loves spending time with her family, hiking, working-out, and fly fishing.

      Lydia is a native of Big Sky country and graduated from MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY (GO BOBCATS!) with a degree in microbiology. In addition, she earned a Medical Technology Certification by attending the Columbus Hospital School of Medical Technology in Great Falls. Upon completion of her degree, she worked in several laboratory settings in Seattle, WA,

      Lydia is a native of Big Sky country and graduated from MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY (GO BOBCATS!) with a degree in microbiology. In addition, she earned a Medical Technology Certification by attending the Columbus Hospital School of Medical Technology in Great Falls.

      Upon completion of her degree, she worked in several laboratory settings in Seattle, WA, including positions as a Medical Technologist at both the Washington State Health Microbiology Department and the Microbiology Department at Swedish Hospital, and as a Molecular Biologist in cancer research for Bristol Myers Squibb.

      After years of work in the laboratory setting, she and her family (husband Scott and two beautiful daughters, Kelsi and Keira) moved to the Philadelphia area where Lydia changed to the more people oriented occupation of teaching piano lessons . After 17 years and many recitals later, Lydia was FINALLY able to return to her Montana roots in 2014, landing in Bigfork, where she began working at the Montana Athletic Club as the Concierge, plus a few other duties that pop up on occasion!

      She is a certified Spinning Instructor and enjoys teaching classes at the MAC. A former triathlete, you may find her in the pool, pounding the pavement, or cruising the valley on her bike! Unless, of course, her beloved SEAHAWKS are playing!! She loves her family, ministering at church, loves people, working out, and eating chocolate – the darker the better! Gifts or bribes always appreciated – drop off at the concierge desk!

      John became Spinning certified by Spinning (Mad Dogg Athletics) in February of 2009 and has been teaching Spinning at the Montana Athletic Club since. His hobbies include woodworking, working in a family owned equestrian training facility.

      I have been teaching spin classes for five years. Four of the five years were in Choteau. I am a certified spin instructor through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. I am a believer that it is the “Music” that makes exercise fun. Come join my “spinning family”! We are welcoming and love to have fun while we sweat! Outside of the Athletic club, I am the coach for the girls’ varsity basketball team at Bigfork High School. My hobbies include cleaning, doing laundry, and managing a household for my loving husband and two teenagers, Rakiah and Gabe.
      I graduated from Tekoa High School, in Tekoa, Washington. I attended Spokane Falls Community College where I also played basketball on their women’s team.
      After two years, I transferred to Eastern Washington University on a basketball scholarship while completing my Elementary Education Degree.

      Paul Mutascio is a certified instructor in the Chakra Pilates Method which is recognized by the Pilates Method Alliance and the United States Pilates Association as a classical Pilates program. 

      Paul is certified in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and several other Pilates’ apparatus. Paul has been teaching Pilates since early 2008 and has been practicing the art of Pilates since 2000.
      Paul was trained by Mariel Filippone, Master Teacher and owner of Chakra Pilates Studios.  Mariel is a second generation teacher, having been taught and mentored by Lolita San Miguel. Ms. Miguel is an internationally acclaimed Master Teacher and Pilates Elder who was taught and trained directly by Joseph and Clara Pilates.

She is Certified in Instruction of Mat , Reformer, Stand-up Paddleboard, Personal Training, as well as PIYO© and TRX©, Chakra Awareness and Awakening, and currently working on Yoga certification and Holistic Nutrition.

      Michelle Wiggins has been an instructor at Montana Athletic Club since 2006.  She instructs group classes four times a week and is available for Private Personal Training in each of these areas as well. It is her goal to help each member of her classes to build a strong body, with a mindful connection to how our body operates most efficiently, and progressively helping people meet their fitness and wellness goals. Her greatest joy comes from seeing people make positive gains in their consistent efforts to benefit from their membership at the MAC. She enjoys participating in community events that require physical activity, such as the Spartan Races, Paddlefest, as well as snowboarding, downhill and cross-country skiing, ice skating, hiking and any other adventurous ways to explore Montana.  She is the mother of 4 children and 2 grandchildren, so staying fit is important for her to engage in these activities with her family.

Krista began practicing yoga in 2000 after training for a marathon that resulted in a running related injury. What began as a way to heal her body transformed into a love for the art of yoga. This translated into a connection between the mind, body and soul through movement, breath-work and meditation. She has studied various disciplines of yoga ranging from Ashtanga to Vinyasa Flow to Restorative with teachers including Patabhi Jois, Shiva Rea, and Rod Stryker, to name a few. Krista is also a AFAA trained personal trainer. Her style of yoga in her classes focus on gentle movement in combination with the breath, to promote deep relaxation of the body and mind.

This time together allows us to focus on reconnecting with our true selves without the distractions of the world. Ego is left outside the room and we work on accepting where we are, right now. Remember that it is called “yoga practice” and not “yoga perfect”. The secret to having a strong, graceful, flexible body……keep coming to yoga.
